Together as one! The Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett
In 2020 we can not gather to celebrate our Champions for Children in person; however, our mission continues with excellent results!
Dear Partner, Supporter, and Friend:
We hope this letter finds you and your family and friends healthy and strong. All of us are facing many challenges and know that the Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett (JCCHCE) is here to help you. The JCCHCE is also trying to successfully deliver on our mission in this new normal. Unlike in other years, the JCCHCE Fund-Raising Committee is postponing all of its fund-raising events until at least 2021. We feel this is considerate of the situation all of us face in these financially difficult times.
We respectfully wish to thank you for your enduring support and to ask that you continue to support the important work of the Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett (JCCHCE). As we all face the challenges of this COVID 19 Pandemic and resulting economic downturn, the JCCHCE like other non-profits, is serving especially vulnerable community members. Your generous financial assistance is needed to help us to continue the mission of the JCCHCE to assist families to enroll and renew enrollment in health insurance and to support their additional health needs.
To that end, over the past few months, thanks to a generous grant from the Haymarket People’s Fund, the JCCHCE has been able to not only help families by providing education, access and enrollment in health insurance, but to provide concrete support to help them pay their utility bills. This funding is limited, but the need for this type of financial support is not ending. Therefore, the JCCHCE is asking that you not only support our mission of awareness and educating families to access quality affordable health care, but also assist people who are in desperate need by providing them with a small amount of support towards food, and support to keep their homes thriving and continue to maintain healthy environments.
As we will not be able to join together at our annual Champion for Children event to celebrate the Mission and the work that we all do together, we are asking if you would donate the cost of your ticket which would have been $50.00. Of course, any amount above the $50.00 would be gratefully appreciated! The funds generated will be used to support the organizations mission and individual families. For more than twenty-five plus years the JCCHCE has provided outstanding and caring service to families in need of health services and to thousands of community residents through prevention and wellness activities. This successful model is a key building block on which the JCCHCE stands and thrives.
Thank you for all the support and validation over these past 26 years. It is through your generosity and collaboration, that the Joint Committee for Children’s Health Care in Everett finds it strength and ability to serve Everett and seventy-nine surrounding communities. A Huge Thank You to All!
With much appreciation,
Nicole Graffam, Executive Director, JCCHCE Jacqueline M. Coogan, Board Treasurer/Founder, Fundraising Comm. Chair, JCCHCE Michael Nicastro, Board Chair, JCCHCE
